Role Overview
We are looking for a detail-oriented and reliable Accounts Executive to support the day-to-day accounting and financial operations of the Company. The role is well-suited for fresh graduates or early-career professionals with strong fundamentals in bookkeeping and hands-on familiarity with Tally. You will work closely with the Director and the Finance function to ensure accurate records, timely invoicing, and smooth financial operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Maintain accurate financial records and bookkeeping in Tally and supporting systems.
- Handle invoice processing, billing, and GST-compliant documentation for clients and vendors.
- Manage day-to-day accounting tasks including journal entries, bank reconciliations, and ledger maintenance.
- Assist with accounts payable and accounts receivable — follow-ups, payment processing, aging reports.
- Perform data entry with accuracy and maintain organized physical and digital documentation.
- Support preparation of monthly, quarterly, and year-end financial reports.
- Coordinate with external consultants (CA, auditor) during audits and statutory filings.
- Assist with GST, TDS, and other statutory return preparation under supervision.
- Support project-level cost tracking, expense reporting, and reimbursement processing.
- Perform other accounting-related functions as required by the Finance team.
Required Skills
- Proficiency in Tally (mandatory) — data entry, voucher creation, ledger management, basic reporting.
- Sound understanding of basic bookkeeping principles and accounting fundamentals.
- Experience in invoice processing and billing activities.
- Proficiency in MS Office — Excel (formulas, pivot tables, basic data analysis) and Word.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in numerical work.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality of financial information.
- Good organizational and time management skills.
Preferred / Good-to-Have Skills
- Familiarity with GST compliance, return filing, and GST-related documentation.
- Understanding of TDS, advance tax, and other basic statutory requirements.
- Exposure to bank reconciliations and petty cash management.
- Working knowledge of Tally Prime (latest version) features.
- Basic familiarity with accounting standards (Indian AS) applicable to private limited companies.
- Communication skills — ability to follow up with clients and vendors on payment and documentation matters.
Eligibility
- Bachelor's degree in Commerce (B.Com, BBA in Finance) or a related field preferred.
- 0 to 4 years of relevant experience in accounting, bookkeeping, or finance operations.
- Freshers with strong academic performance and demonstrable Tally familiarity — through coursework, internships, or certifications — are encouraged to apply.
What We Offer
- Structured learning environment — work directly with senior leadership and gain exposure to full-spectrum company finance operations.
- Opportunity to grow into a Senior Accounts or Finance role as the Company scales.
- Stable, full-time position in a technology-driven organization with diverse project work.
- Supportive team culture with emphasis on accuracy, responsibility, and continuous learning.
- Exposure to project accounting, client billing, and multi-sector business operations (oil & gas, ports, renewables).
