Job Summary
We are looking for a highly experienced Store Manager to lead store and warehouse operations in a steel/metal manufacturing environment. The ideal candidate should have strong expertise in inventory management, material planning, warehouse operations, and ERP systems to ensure seamless material availability for production.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage all store operations, including receipt, storage, issuance, and dispatch of materials.
- Maintain accurate inventory records through regular stock verification and cycle counts.
- Ensure timely availability of raw materials, consumables, engineering spares, and finished goods.
- Implement FIFO and inventory control best practices.
- Lead and supervise the store team to achieve operational excellence.
- Ensure compliance with safety standards, 5S, and company policies.
- Support internal and external inventory audits.
Required Qualifications & Experience
- Graduate or Diploma in Commerce, Engineering, Supply Chain, Materials Management, or a related field.
- Minimum 12 years of experience as a Store Manager in the Steel/Metal Manufacturing industry.
- Strong knowledge of inventory control, warehouse management, and material planning.
- Hands-on experience with ERP/SAP and MS Excel.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
Preferred Candidate
- Experience managing large inventories in a manufacturing environment.
- Strong analytical and organizational skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced production environment.
