Role Overview
We are seeking a highly motivated and technically adept Sales Engineer to drive the adoption of our industrial digital transformation solutions
You will consult with clients to identify operational bottlenecks and pitch tailored solutions—focusing on advanced SCADA systems, industrial IoT (IIoT), and seamless OT/IT enterprise connectivity
Key Responsibilities
1. Pre-Sales & Solution Selling
- Technical Presentations: Lead deep-dive technical discussions, architectural walkthroughs, and live software demonstrations
- Requirement Analysis: Consult with C-level executives, plant managers, and technical leads to map out operational pain points and develop Proof of Concept (PoC) scopes Sales Engineer:
- Proposal Generation: Prepare and deliver accurate technical and commercial proposals, including Bill of Materials (BOMs), architectural layouts, and project cost estimates Pre-Sales Engineer - Industrial Automation & IIoT.
2. Domain Knowledge & OT/IT Connectivity
- SCADA & Automation: Must be conversant on modern SCADA architectures, edge devices, and PLC integrations.
- Enterprise Connectivity: Champion digital transformation by positioning OT/IT integration solutions, ensuring smooth data flow from the plant floor to enterprise systems (MES/ERP/Cloud)
- Industrial Networking: Advise clients on secure, scalable industrial communication protocols (e.g., OPC UA, MQTT, Modbus, Profinet, Sparkplug B) SCADA Technical Sales Consultant.
- 3. Account Management & Market Expansion
- Lead Generation: Generate and qualify new sales leads through targeted outreach, seminars, and networking
- Deal Closing: Manage the complete sales cycle—from initial contact and handling technical objections to commercial negotiation and order closure
- Market Intelligence: Monitor industry trends, competitor product offerings, and customer feedback to inform product development team
Qualifications & Requirements
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Electrical, Electronics, Instrumentation, Mechatronics, or Computer Science Engineering SCADA Technical Sales Consultant.
- Experience: 3-7 years of proven technical sales or application engineering experience in industrial automation, SCADA, or IIoT ecosystems SCADA Technical Sales Consultant in Multiple Locations. [1, 2]
- Technical Skills:
- Strong working knowledge of SCADA platforms (e.g., Ignition, Wonderware, WinCC) and automation hardware (RTUs, PLCs, DCS).
- Familiarity with IT/OT convergence, edge computing, cloud connectivity, and IoT ecosystems.
- Soft Skills: Excellent communication skills with the ability to translate complex technical concepts into clear business value for non-technical stakeholders

Pay: ₹35,000.00 - ₹70,000.00 per month
Work Location: In person
