Key Responsibilities
- Perform TIG and Arc welding on various metals, including carbon steel, stainless steel, and aluminum.
- Read and interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, and welding symbols.
- Prepare materials and workpieces for welding, including cutting, grinding, and fitting.
- Set up and operate welding equipment safely and efficiently.
- Inspect welded joints to ensure they meet quality and safety standards.
- Repair defective welds and perform rework when necessary.
- Maintain welding tools, equipment, and work areas in good condition.
- Follow workplace safety procedures and use appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE).
- Collaborate with supervisors, fabricators, and other team members to complete projects on schedule.
- Record production and maintenance activities as required.
Requirements
- Proven experience as a TIG and Arc Welder.
- Ability to read technical drawings and welding specifications.
- Knowledge of welding techniques, metallurgy, and fabrication processes.
- Familiarity with welding safety standards and procedures.
- Good hand-eye coordination and attention to detail.
- Physical ability to lift materials and work in various positions.
- Relevant welding certification is preferred.
Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹30,000.00 per month
