Key Daily Duties and Responsibilities
· Vehicle Maintenance & Inspection: Inspect the ambulance before each shift (oil, fuel, lights, siren, tires, and mechanical systems) and immediately report any issues to ensure the vehicle is roadworthy.
· Operational & Safety Procedures: Safely operate the ambulance in various traffic conditions, following all driving laws while ensuring patient comfort.
· Patient Transport & Assistance: Move patients onto stretchers, securely load them into the vehicle, and provide basic first aid or oxygen if necessary during transport.
· Sanitation & Stocking: Clean the interior and exterior of the ambulance, including proper sanitization and disposal of medical waste. Ensure all medical supplies, linens, and equipment are fully stocked.
· Documentation & Reporting: Maintain detailed daily logs including patient names, addresses, times, and mileage.
· Communication: Maintain active, clear communication with dispatchers and medical personnel to ensure efficient patient care.
· Oxygen Cylinder: To maintain the refilling of ambulance oxygen cylinder.
Physical and Professional Requirements
· Physical Strength: Ability to lift, push, and pull patients.
· Certification: Valid driver’s license, often accompanied by First Aid and CPR certifications.
· Skills: Strong defensive driving abilities, proficiency in map reading/GPS, and capacity to work under pressure.
Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹20,000.00 per month
