ABOUT THE ROLE We are looking for 2 talented and motivated Backend Developers to join our Technology & Engineering department at our Mohali, Punjab office. In this full-time role, you will be a core member of a collaborative and fast-paced engineering team responsible for building and maintaining the server-side logic, databases, and APIs that power our products. You will work closely with frontend developers, product managers, and DevOps engineers in an environment that values clean code, continuous learning, and technical innovation. WHAT YOU'LL DO • Design, develop, and maintain scalable, high-performance RESTful APIs and backend services using modern frameworks such as Node.js, Python, or Java. • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate product requirements into robust technical solutions, ensuring timely delivery and code quality through peer reviews and testing. • Optimize database schemas, write efficient queries, and manage data storage solutions across relational and non-relational databases such as PostgreSQL, MySQL, or MongoDB. • Identify and resolve performance bottlenecks, security vulnerabilities, and system issues to ensure maximum uptime and reliability of backend infrastructure. • Participate actively in Agile ceremonies including sprint planning, stand-ups, and retrospectives to contribute to continuous team improvement. WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR • 2–5 years of hands-on experience in backend development with proficiency in at least one server-side language such as Node.js, Python, Java, or Go. • Strong working knowledge of database design and management, including experience with both SQL and NoSQL databases, along with familiarity with ORM tools. • Solid understanding of RESTful API design principles, authentication mechanisms (JWT, OAuth), and experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, GCP, or Azure. • Experience with version control systems, particularly Git, and familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and containerization tools such as Docker and Kubernetes. • Strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team environment.
