Job Summary:
The Service Advisor acts as the bridge between customers and the service workshop, ensuring smooth communication, accurate job orders, and timely delivery of vehicles. The role requires strong customer service skills, technical knowledge of automobiles, and the ability to manage service operations efficiently.
Key Responsibilities:
- Greet customers and understand their service/maintenance requirements.
- Prepare job cards, service estimates, and explain costs to customers.
- Coordinate with technicians to ensure timely completion of repairs.
- Keep customers updated on service progress and any additional work needed.
- Handle customer complaints and ensure satisfaction with service quality.
- Maintain service records, invoices, and warranty documentation.
- Follow up with customers after service for feedback and future appointments.
- Ensure compliance with dealership standards and manufacturer guidelines.
Requirements:
- Diploma/Degree in Automobile Engineering or related field.
- 1–2 years of experience in automotive service or dealership environment.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Basic technical knowledge of vehicle systems and diagnostics.
- Customer-focused with problem-solving abilities.
- Proficiency in MS Office and dealership management software (DMS).
