About the Role
Visko Textile Pvt. Ltd. is seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Tailor to join our production team. The ideal candidate should have experience in garment stitching, alterations, finishing, and quality workmanship while meeting daily production targets and maintaining company quality standards. Tailors in apparel manufacturing are responsible for accurately measuring, cutting, sewing, altering, and finishing garments using industrial sewing equipment.
Key Responsibilities
- Stitch garments as per production specifications and approved samples.
- Perform alterations and corrections whenever required.
- Operate industrial sewing machines and related equipment safely.
- Read and understand measurement sheets, patterns, and work instructions.
- Ensure proper fitting, finishing, and quality of garments.
- Inspect finished products for defects before submission.
- Meet daily production targets while maintaining quality standards.
- Maintain cleanliness and proper care of sewing machines and workstations.
- Report machine issues or production defects to the Production Supervisor.
- Follow all workplace safety and company policies.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum qualification: 10th/12th Pass (ITI in Sewing Technology or a related field is preferred).
- 1–3 years of experience as a Tailor in the garment or textile industry.
- Freshers with strong tailoring skills may also apply.
Required Skills
- Proficiency in operating industrial sewing machines.
- Good knowledge of garment construction and stitching techniques.
- Ability to take accurate measurements and perform alterations.
- Knowledge of different fabrics and stitching methods.
- Attention to detail and quality.
- Good hand-eye coordination.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced production environment.
- Teamwork and time management skills.
Preferred Experience
- Experience in manufacturing shirts, trousers, uniforms, ethnic wear, or other apparel.
- Knowledge of quality control and garment finishing processes.

Pay: ₹9,632.11 - ₹20,000.00 per month
