We are seeking a skilled and experienced Power BI Developer with 5+ years of expertise in designing, developing, and maintaining interactive business intelligence solutions. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in Power BI, data modeling, DAX, SQL, and ETL processes, with the ability to transform complex data into meaningful insights that support strategic business decisions. You will work closely with business stakeholders, data engineers, and cross-functional teams to deliver scalable and high-quality reporting solutions.

Design, develop, and maintain interactive Power BI dashboards, reports, and scorecards to support business reporting needs.

Gather and analyze business requirements and translate them into effective data visualization solutions.

Develop and optimize data models using Power BI, ensuring high performance and scalability.

Create complex DAX measures, calculated columns, and KPIs to deliver meaningful business insights.

Develop and optimize Power Query (M Language) transformations for efficient data preparation.

Connect Power BI to multiple data sources, including SQL Server, Azure, Excel, APIs, and cloud-based platforms.

Design and implement ETL processes for data extraction, transformation, and loading.

Monitor, troubleshoot, and optimize report performance and refresh schedules.

Implement Row-Level Security (RLS), data governance, and security best practices.

Collaborate with data engineers and database administrators to ensure data accuracy and integrity.

Publish, manage, and maintain reports and datasets in the Power BI Service.

Schedule data refreshes, manage workspaces, gateways, and deployment pipelines.

Participate in code reviews, testing, documentation, and knowledge-sharing activities.

Support production issues and enhance existing BI solutions based on business requirements.

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, Data Analytics, or a related field.

5+ years of experience in Business Intelligence or Data Analytics with strong expertise in Power BI.

Hands-on experience in developing enterprise-level Power BI dashboards and reports.

Strong proficiency in DAX, Power Query (M Language), and data modeling.

Advanced SQL skills with experience in writing complex queries, stored procedures, and performance optimization.

Experience working with SQL Server and other relational databases.

Strong understanding of ETL concepts and data warehousing principles.

Experience publishing and managing reports in Power BI Service.

Knowledge of Power BI Gateway, workspace management, and scheduled refresh.

Understanding of Row-Level Security (RLS), data governance, and report security.

Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.

Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to interact effectively with technical and business stakeholders.

Experience working in Agile/Scrum development environments.

Experience with Microsoft Azure services such as Azure SQL Database, Azure Data Factory, Azure Synapse Analytics, or Azure Data Lake.

Microsoft Certified: Power BI Data Analyst Associate (PL-300) or equivalent certification.

Knowledge of Microsoft Fabric and modern analytics platforms.

Experience with Python or R for advanced analytics and data visualization.

Familiarity with SSIS, SSRS, SSAS, or other Microsoft BI technologies.
