Job Purpose
To provide excellent customer service in the food and beverage outlets by ensuring guests have a pleasant dining experience. The GSA acts as the first point of contact, assisting with seating, taking orders, serving food and beverages, and maintaining service standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Greet guests warmly and escort them to their tables.
- Present menus, explain specials, and answer questions about food and beverages.
- Take accurate orders and relay them to the kitchen/bar.
- Serve food and drinks promptly and professionally.
- Ensure tables are set up properly and maintain cleanliness throughout service.
- Handle guest complaints politely and escalate issues when necessary.
- Process bills and payments efficiently.
- Follow hygiene, safety, and grooming standards at all times.
- Assist in setting up buffets, banquets, or special events.
- Coordinate with kitchen and bar staff to ensure smooth service.
- Qualifications :
- High school diploma or equivalent (Hotel Management diploma preferred)
- Prior experience in F&B service is an advantage but not always required.
- Basic knowledge of POS systems and billing procedures.
