Job SummaryWe are looking for a highly skilled and passionate Application Developer – Open Source with strong expertise in Python development, FastAPI, Microservices, and Cloud technologies. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience in building scalable RESTful applications, containerized deployments, CI/CD pipelines, and cloud-native solutions.
The candidate should possess strong problem-solving skills, experience working in Agile environments, and the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams while mentoring junior developers and contributing to technical excellence.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain scalable backend applications using Python and FastAPI.
- Build and consume REST APIs for enterprise-grade applications and integrations.
- Develop Microservices-based architecture and ensure high availability and scalability.
- Implement robust testing frameworks using Pytest and follow best coding practices.
- Work on containerization and orchestration using Docker and Kubernetes.
- Build, maintain, and optimize CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps.
- Collaborate with DevOps, QA, Product Owners, and business teams for successful solution delivery.
- Ensure application compliance, security standards, and performance optimization.
- Participate in code reviews, technical discussions, and architecture decisions.
- Manage source code repositories and branching strategies using Git.
- Work with cloud platforms such as Azure, AWS, or GCP for deployment and infrastructure management.
- Mentor junior developers and contribute to knowledge sharing within the team.
- Follow Agile/Scrum methodologies and participate in sprint planning, stand-ups, and retrospectives.
Mandatory Skills & Experience
- 6+ years of full-time software development experience as a Python Developer.
- Expertise in Python REST API framework Fast-API
- Hands-on programming with Python, Pytest, REST API
- Experience on how to handle compliance and security standards
- Experience on Micro service based architecture designs.
- Experience with Docker and Kubernetes
- Experience in building CI/CD pipelines in Azure DevOps
- Experience on Git
- Experience in working on any cloud technologies (Microsoft Azure, AWS, GCP etc)
- Excellent social and communication skills for mentoring and knowledge sharing
- Fluent English in spoken and written
Educational Qualification
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field
Pay: ₹1,200,000.00 - ₹1,650,000.00 per year
