Quantity Surveyor

Job Summary
We are looking for a detail-oriented and motivated Quantity Surveyor with 1–3 years of experience to join our team. The ideal candidate should have experience in quantity estimation, BOQ preparation, billing, cost analysis, and coordination with project teams to ensure timely and cost-effective project execution.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare quantity take-offs and Bill of Quantities (BOQ) from drawings.
- Estimate project costs and prepare budgets.
- Prepare and verify client and contractor bills.
- Monitor project costs and identify cost-saving opportunities.
- Review drawings, specifications, and contract documents.
- Coordinate with site engineers, architects, and project managers.
- Maintain records of measurements, variations, and project documentation.
- Assist in procurement by preparing material quantity requirements.
- Ensure compliance with project specifications and contractual requirements.
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree/Diploma in Civil Engineering or a related field.
- 1–3 years of experience as a Quantity Surveyor in construction projects.
- Knowledge of quantity estimation, BOQ preparation, and billing.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD, MS Excel, and estimation software.
- Strong analytical, communication, and negotiation skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Preferred Skills
- Experience in residential or commercial construction projects.
- Familiarity with ERP software is an added advantage.
- Good understanding of construction materials and methods.
