Front Office Associate
The Front Office Associate is responsible for providing professional and courteous guest service at the resort reception. The role includes handling guest check-ins and check-outs, reservations, guest inquiries, and ensuring a smooth and pleasant guest experience throughout their stay.
Key Responsibilities
- Welcome guests warmly and assist with check-in and check-out procedures.
- Handle room reservations, cancellations, and modifications accurately.
- Respond to guest inquiries, requests, and complaints professionally and promptly.
- Maintain accurate guest records, registration details, and billing information.
- Coordinate with housekeeping and other departments regarding room status and guest requirements.
- Process payments, invoices, and guest bills as per company procedures.
- Answer telephone calls, emails, and reservation inquiries courteously.
- Provide guests with information regarding resort facilities, services, and local attractions.
- Ensure the reception area and lobby are clean, organized, and presentable.
- Assist in handling VIP arrivals, group check-ins, and special guest requests.
- Follow company policies, SOPs, and hospitality service standards.
- Prepare shift reports and ensure proper handover between shifts.
Qualifications & Skills
- Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Hotel Management, Hospitality, or related field preferred.
- 0–3 years of experience in front office or guest service operations in hotels or resorts.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Customer-focused attitude with problem-solving abilities.
- Basic computer knowledge and familiarity with reservation/billing systems.
- Ability to work in shifts, weekends, and holidays.
- Well-groomed appearance and professional behavior.
- Ability to handle guests calmly and efficiently during busy operations.
Preferred Skills
- Experience in resort or hotel front office operations.
- Familiarity with PMS/Hotel Management Software and POS systems.
- Knowledge of reservation handling and guest relations.
- Ability to manage guest complaints professionally.
- Understanding of hospitality standards and front office procedures
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹20,000.00 per month
