General Maintenance Technician
Heaven’s Park Arabian & Multicuisine Restaurant – Chennai
Position Purpose
The General Maintenance Technician will be responsible for maintaining the restaurant’s facilities, equipment, and infrastructure to ensure smooth daily operations. The role includes electrical, plumbing, kitchen equipment maintenance, and general repair work to keep the restaurant environment safe, clean, and fully functional.
Candidate Requirements
- Minimum 2–3 years experience in maintenance or technician role
- Basic knowledge of electrical, plumbing, and mechanical repairs
- Experience maintaining restaurant or commercial kitchen equipment is preferred
- Ability to troubleshoot and resolve maintenance issues quickly
- Knowledge of safety procedures and preventive maintenance
- Ability to work flexible hours if required
Key Responsibilities
- Perform daily maintenance and repair of restaurant facilities
- Maintain electrical systems, lighting, switches, and power outlets
- Check and repair plumbing systems, water lines, and drainage
- Ensure proper functioning of kitchen equipment, exhaust systems, and refrigeration units
- Conduct preventive maintenance checks to avoid breakdowns
- Coordinate with external technicians for major repairs
- Ensure safety and cleanliness of maintenance areas
- Respond quickly to emergency repair issues
Preferred Skills
- Basic electrical and plumbing certification
- Experience in hotel or restaurant maintenance
- Problem-solving and troubleshooting skills
- Ability to work independently
Salary
₹15,000 – ₹25,000 per month (Based on experience)
