Job Title: Production Incharge – Injection Molding Machine Manufacturing
Job Summary
Responsible for managing end-to-end production of injection molding machines, including fabrication, assembly, testing, and dispatch, ensuring quality, efficiency, and on-time delivery.
Key Responsibilities
Production Planning & Execution
- Plan and control daily production of machine manufacturing (fabrication, machining, assembly)
- Ensure production targets and delivery timelines are met
- Monitor productivity and optimize workflow
Shop Floor Management
- Supervise fabrication, machining, and assembly teams
- Allocate manpower and manage shift operations
- Ensure proper coordination between departments
Assembly & Testing
- Oversee machine assembly (clamping unit, injection unit, hydraulics, electricals)
- Ensure proper machine trials and testing before dispatch
- Coordinate with design and service teams for technical issues
Process Improvement
- Improve production efficiency and reduce cycle time
- Identify bottlenecks and implement corrective actions
- Optimize resource utilization
Quality Control
- Ensure machines meet quality standards and specifications
- Coordinate with QA/QC for inspections and testing
- Handle non-conformities and corrective actions
Material & Inventory Management
- Ensure availability of raw materials and components
- Coordinate with purchase and stores for timely supply
Requirements
- Diploma / B.E. in Mechanical Engineering
- 5–10 years experience in machine manufacturing / heavy engineering
- Knowledge of fabrication, machining, hydraulics, and assembly
- Strong leadership and troubleshooting skills
