Job Summary
Indigo Infraprojects Pvt Ltd is hiring an experienced and disciplined Store Keeper to manage day-to-day inventory, material handling, and record-keeping across our infrastructure and civil construction sites in Delhi NCR. The ideal candidate will have a solid background in handling civil construction materials (cement, steel, piling gear, anchors, safety equipment) and maintaining accurate site ledgers.
Key Responsibilities
- Material Management: Receive, inspect, and safely store incoming construction materials, tools, and machinery items on-site.
- Inventory Control: Monitor stock levels closely to prevent material shortages or over-stocking; raise timely purchase requisitions.
- Issue & Receipt: Issue materials to site supervisors/subcontractors based on authorized material slips and maintain strict logs.
- Documentation: Maintain clean, error-free site registers, Daily Progress Reports (DPR), and update material tracking software or Excel sheets.
- Verification: Conduct regular physical verification of stock and reconcile counts with the gate-entry registers and delivery challans.
- Scrap Management: Keep track of non-moving inventory, damaged tools, and scrap material on-site.
- Safety Compliance: Ensure the store area is organized cleanly, securely, and adheres to standard site safety norms.
Requirements & Qualifications
- Experience: Minimum 5 years of active experience specifically as a Store Keeper in the Construction / Infrastructure sector (Mandatory).
- Skills: Strong understanding of civil materials (structural steel, cement, aggregates, shuttering materials, etc.).
- Technical: Basic computer knowledge (MS Excel, Outlook) for daily stock updating is highly preferred.
- Traits: Sharp eye for detail, honest, and capable of working in a fast-paced on-site project environment.
- Language: Functional Hindi and basic English (to read invoices, bills, and challans).
- Availability: Ready to join on short notice and open to relocation/posting across different site locations in Delhi NCR.
