seeking a seasoned and clinically skilled Associate Professor of General Medicine to join our clinical faculty. The ideal candidate will be responsible for leading clinical rounds, mentoring junior residents, and delivering high-level medical education to MBBS and postgraduate students. This role requires a balance of patient care excellence and academic leadership.
Key Responsibilities
- Clinical Leadership: Oversee daily ward rounds, outpatient clinics, and ICU management. Provide high-level consultation and clinical decision-making.
- Academic Teaching: Conduct seminars, case presentations, and bedside teaching sessions for undergraduate and postgraduate medical students.
- Resident Supervision: Supervise and mentor Junior and Senior Residents in clinical practices and emergency management.
- Research & Administration: Lead departmental research projects, contribute to indexed publications, and assist in administrative duties to ensure NMC-compliant operations.
- Mentorship: Act as a faculty guide for thesis and research work for postgraduate students.
Required Qualifications
- Education: MBBS with an MD/DNB in General Medicine from a recognized medical institution.
- Experience: Minimum 3–5 years of experience as an Assistant Professor in the Department of General Medicine in a recognized medical college, in accordance with National Medical Commission (NMC) norms.
- Registration: Must hold a valid registration with the State Medical Council or National Medical Commission (NMC).
- Skills: Expertise in managing complex medical cases, strong clinical diagnostic skills, and proven record in academic leadership.
Pay: ₹150,000.00 - ₹180,000.00 per month
