HVAC is responsible for leading the design, implementation, and optimization of complex HVAC systems, ensuring compliance with codes, energy efficiency, and project delivery.
JOB REQUIREMENTS:
A degree in Mechanical Engineering Discipline with minimum 18 - 25 years of experience in HVAC designing field(minimum 7-8 years in EV & PV). Candidate should possess knowledge in carrying out basic and detailed engineering work. Candidate should have technical & working knowledge of HVAC designing for EV, PV, Cold room & Industrial, pharma industry, FMCG & Microelectronics projects.
Candidate should have basic knowledge of following would be :
- Strong experience on design of Low RH area (less than 1%) / Large area clean room classification / Industrial/Hazardous and non-hazardous laboratory, COLD room for low temperature/ ammonia Refrigeration cycle/High-capacity centrifugal chiller/High-capacity Screw chiller/Brine chiller/Cooling tower/ Dust extraction system/Natural ventilation /Mechanical ventilation/pharmaceutical / Life Science / Specialty Chemical in terms of HVAC design.
- Sound knowledge of EV / PV /Cold (storage)room/Industrial/ pharmaceutical / Life Science facility architectural layout and process sequence.
- Sound experience of Gairn calculation, Anti-static requirement, Dehumidifier equipment selection, Large AHU selection, Air-terminal selection for high height area, Mezzanine area ventilation as per code and design requirement.
- Sound experience of preparation of chilled water, cooling water & Brine solution generation and distribution schematic.
- Sound knowledge of preparation of MR for high side equipment (chiller, Brine chiller, Cooling tower, Side stream filter.
- Sound knowledge of MR of dust and fume extraction system.
- Sound knowledge of preparation of refrigeration-based equipment schematic, smoke extraction and pressurization schematic.
- Sound experience of equipment planning with respect to optimized equipment as well as ducting, piping routing and refrigeration piping routing.
- Sound experience of Hazardous Area Classification for designing HVAC Properly.
- Strong experience in carrying out detailed heat load calculations based on ASHRAE.
- Sound knowledge of understanding & making PIDs / AFIDs for HVAC system.
- HVAC high & low side Equipment selection and data sheet preparation.
- Sound knowledge of FFUs and HEPA selection based on room height and air distribution point of view.
- Good knowledge in terms of carrying out pump head and Fan static pressure calculations.
- Sound knowledge of designing of ducting, piping, and HVAC controls (BMS & EMS System) and should be able to prepare the SOO of the complete HVAC system (Low Side & High Side).
- MTO/BOQ Preparation for complete HVAC System (Low Side & High Side).
- Experience on major and multidisciplinary pharma projects within India or abroad.
- Sound Knowledge of ACGIH, NFPA, ASME, ANSI, ASHRAE, SMACNA, ISO, & Clean room guidelines is must.
- Design of Fume and dust extraction system for flammable and not flammable area classification.
- Design of LAF/Fume hood/Bio safety cabinets
- Sound, static pressure and acoustic calculations.
- Classified cold room design with HEPA/low level risers inclusion.
- Cold room and Freezers design up to (-) 40 Deg C Design
- Detailed knowledge of BMS and validated EMS system
- Detailed knowledge of executing DQ/IQ/OQ/PQ documents for validation
- Basic knowledge of process equipment’s and its heat dissipation requirements
- Design of HVAC system based on hazardous area classifications.
- Gap analysis and site support for execution and validation team
- Knowledge of Turn down philosophy during out of manufacturing hours.
- Knowledge of battery manufacturing area plant design like mixing, cathode area, anode area, HT aging, RT ageing, Coater cutting, Roller pressing area
- Knowledge of PV solar plant design of Ingot, Wafer area, Cell Section
- Knowledge of Semiconductor Plant HVAC design for Fab and OSAT facilities
