We are currently hiring Senior Piping Stress Engineer within the mechanical department. Regardless of experience level, you will be involved in some of the largest and most complex projects in NNE and potentially you will help leading a team of Piping Stress Engineers. By joining our Mechanical department, you will become a part of a department consisting of more than 200 highly skilled project employees in India & Denmark.

Main Roles & Responsibilities
As a Senior Piping Stress Engineer, you’ll be working with an innovative, multi-disciplinary team where you’ll be supporting or leading following tasks:
- Lead and perform piping stress analysis, including resolution of critical stress and nozzle load issues, ensuring compliance with applicable EN, ASME, API, and project standards

Define and implement piping support philosophy, including preparation of support load calculations, support load lists, and coordination with structural teams for pipe rack and foundation design

Develop, validate, and maintain stress models, isometrics, and reports, ensuring alignment with 3D models, design inputs, and project specifications

Review and update piping material specifications.

Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams to finalize critical line lists, validate routing, and ensure system integrity across design interfaces

Manage engineering deliverables and documentation, including stress reports, databases, checklists, and vendor data reviews, ensuring accuracy, traceability, and timely delivery

Utilize engineering tools effectively (ROHR2/CAESAR II, Navisworks, AutoCAD Plant 3D/Similar, MS Office) for modeling, data handling, and design verification

Provide technical guidance and mentoring to junior engineers, while ensuring high-quality execution and adherence to project timelines

Support project planning and execution, including man-hour estimation, and contribute to efficient team performance through strong communication and collaboration

Review and update standards and practices at regular intervals, while also contributing to departmental development initiatives.

Education and Work Experience
In all positions there are some things that are needed, and others a bonus. We believe these qualifications are needed for you to do well in this role:
Master’s or Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or related discipline

10+ years of experience in piping stress, pipe support design and load evaluation

You are familiar with the US and European codes and standards
- Familiar with material specification and piping specifications preparation

Has knowledge of interdisciplinary dependency
You have knowledge of all project execution phases
