This role is responsible for the overall Human Resource function of the plant. The Individual will be responsible for driving the HR Strategy in the plant, Recruitment, Ensures Factory and Contract Labour Compliance, Ensures HR policies are being followed, Keep the control over manpower deployment as per Budget, Coordinate with other functions for completion of people processes, Translate Corporate HR actions get implemented in plants, Knowledge on HRMS portal, Deal with Union and other local leaders appropriately.
Recruitment and Onboarding
Drive L&D Activities at plant level and maintain the records
Ensure 100% Factory Compliance and guide the plant head on compliance
Partner with Plant head to develop and execute both long-term and short-term HR strategies that directly support and enable business objectives.
Motivate, encourage people participation through 5-S / suggestion scheme / SGAs / Committees, etc., through creating ownership at other senior management level and welfare activities.
Contract Labour management for the plant and Warehouses under the plant purview.
Ensure to prepare accurate daily/Monthly MIS reports
Ensure HO HR guidelines to be followed in all people processes.
Set up proper grievance redressal mechanism in the plant and maintain the records.
Handling of Union and ensure to follow the LTS. Setup monthly meeting with union and communicate the management requirements and understand their concerns.
Implement periodic Rewards & Recognition program in the plant.
Encourage employees to participate and highlight their achievements and get them rewarded as per R&R policy.
Liaison with Local Govt. Authorities viz. Factories Dept, Labour Dept, Police, PCB, Electrical Dept, Local Industries association, Political party leaders, ESI, PF Authorities etc.,
Ensure On roll employees’ attendance and payroll processes on time without errors.
Conduct employee engagement activities in the plant as per EE Calendar.
Ensure proper documentation of all statutory records for Govt. Authority inspection and for Internal/External Audits.
Adhere strictly to all statutory obligations pertaining to Labour Legislations and ensure no penalties are imposed.
Ensure zero stoppage of the plant on account of Industrial Relations.
Maintain employee personal files and update the same in Workday.
Lead Change management and driving transformation
Conversant with the disciplinary procedure and ability to apply appropriately.
Employee welfare – Canteen facility, Transport, Security, OHC, General admin etc.,
