Position: Subject Matter Expert (SME) – Nursing
Department: Clinical / Home Health Care
Location: Kolkata
Reporting To: Clinical Head / Medical Director
Job Summary
The Subject Matter Expert (SME) – Nursing will be responsible for providing clinical expertise, developing protocols, training nursing staff, and ensuring high-quality patient care delivery in home healthcare settings.
Key Responsibilities1. Clinical Expertise & Protocol Development
- Develop and implement SOPs for home nursing care
- Design clinical protocols and care pathways
- Ensure adherence to clinical guidelines and quality standards
- Update protocols based on latest practices
2. Training & Skill Development
- Conduct induction training for nurses
- Organize skill enhancement sessions
- Develop training modules and assessment tools
- Mentor nursing staff
3. Quality Assurance & Audits
- Conduct clinical audits
- Monitor documentation and compliance
- Implement corrective actions
- Ensure infection control standards
4. Patient Care Oversight
- Review complex cases
- Support care plan development
- Ensure proper treatment and monitoring
- Coordinate with doctors
5. Operational Support
- Assist in service design
- Provide clinical input for business development
- Handle escalations
6. Documentation & Compliance
- Maintain patient records
- Ensure legal compliance
Required Qualifications
- B.Sc Nursing / M.Sc Nursing
- Valid Nursing Registration
- ICU / Critical Care certification (preferred)
Experience
- 6–10 years clinical experience
- 2–3 years in supervisory role

Salary Range
₹35,000 – ₹80,000/month
