Key Responsibilities
- Install, configure, and maintain Linux servers (Ubuntu, Debian, CentOS, Rocky Linux).
- Perform OS installation, server provisioning, and system hardening.
- Configure SSH access, key-based authentication, and remote server management using Termius or similar SSH clients.
- Install and configure web servers (Nginx, Apache), databases (MySQL/MariaDB), and required software packages.
- Manage IPv4/IPv6 networking, DNS, routing, and firewall configurations.
- Configure and troubleshoot HTTP, HTTPS, SOCKS5, and reverse proxies.
- Monitor server health, CPU, memory, storage, and network performance.
- Write and maintain Python scripts to automate server administration, log processing, monitoring, and repetitive tasks.
Required Skills
- Strong knowledge of Linux operating systems (Ubuntu, Debian, CentOS, Rocky Linux).
- Experience installing and configuring Linux servers.
- Excellent understanding of SSH, Termius, PuTTY, and remote server administration.
- Experience with Python scripting for automation.
- Knowledge of Bash scripting.
- Understanding of TCP/IP, DNS, HTTP/HTTPS, SMTP, FTP, and networking concepts.
- Experience configuring HTTP/SOCKS proxies and reverse proxies.
- Knowledge of firewalls (UFW, iptables, nftables).
- Experience managing Nginx or Apache web servers.
- Familiarity with Git and version control.
- Ability to troubleshoot server performance and networking issues.
- Good understanding of virtualization platforms and cloud servers (AWS, Azure, DigitalOcean, Vultr, Hetzner, etc.).
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Experience with PowerMTA or email server administration is an advantage.
- Knowledge of DNS, SPF, DKIM, and DMARC configuration.
- Experience with VPNs and proxy infrastructure.
- Basic knowledge of cybersecurity best practices.
Experience - 6 months to 2 years
Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹25,000.00 per month
