A Resident Medical Officer (RMO) is a licensed doctor who resides at or frequently remains on-call at a hospital. They serve as the first point of contact for in-patients and emergencies, providing continuous medical cover, assisting senior consultants, and ensuring seamless day-to-day clinical operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Emergency Response: Act as the first responder for critical medical events (e.g., cardiac arrest, trauma) to stabilize patients before specialized care arrives.
- Ward Rounds & Patient Monitoring: Conduct daily rounds, review lab results, check vital signs, and update consultants on patient recovery or complications.
- Clinical Management: Clerk new admissions, take patient histories, assist in surgeries, and document progress notes and discharge summaries.
- Medication & Treatment: Supervise the administration of treatments, ensuring medications are correctly implemented by nursing staff.
Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹50,000.00 per month
