THE ROLE
We are looking for an organised and ambitious Mid-level Project Manager to join our growing Project Management Team. The role sits within Yellow Panther’s Project team and reports to the Head of Projects.
In this role, you will play a key part in delivering high-quality digital projects, working closely with Senior Project Managers, the Head of Projects, and cross-functional teams. Drawing on your experience managing digital projects end-to-end, you will support the successful delivery of Yellow Panther’s client work while continuing to develop your project management and leadership skills.
Working collaboratively with the wider team, you will help uphold and improve project management standards and processes across the business, ensuring Yellow Panther continues to produce high-quality work for our clients. You will be trusted to manage your own projects while escalating risks and challenges appropriately and contributing ideas for continuous improvement.
You should have experience working across different project management methodologies, with the ability to manage multiple projects and stakeholders concurrently. You’ll effectively plan, prioritise, and coordinate deliverables and resources across a programme of work.
The role requires shared responsibility for delivery and stakeholder communication, supporting financial targets and overall project success. Your responsibilities will span requirements gathering, project planning, budgeting support, risk management, and change management.
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES

Work with a cross-functional team to deliver Agile and Waterfall software projects that meet both user and business goals.

Managing projects of varying size and complexity, supporting client relationships (including senior stakeholders), schedules, risks, budgets and assets, ensuring work remains within scope.

With strong attention to detail and organisation, contributing to regular revenue forecasts and surfacing risks or issues in a timely manner.

Able to break down wider product and project vision into smaller, incremental deliverables such as tasks, epics, and user stories to support delivery planning.

Leading and supporting ceremonies/meetings such as stand-ups, refinements, and demos.

Supporting discovery workshops alongside the Head of Strategy and senior team members to help clients articulate their product vision.

Working closely with client-side product owners and internal strategy, design, and development teams to deliver innovative, scalable digital solutions. You’ll help organise and facilitate client kick-offs, encouraging participation and supporting teams toward key decisions.

Highly motivated and proactive, you will contribute positively to team culture and help keep delivery moving forward. Solutions-focused, you will take ownership of challenges while knowing when to seek guidance.

Supporting and collaborating with other project managers, sharing best practices and contributing to a culture of learning and improvement.

Focusing on client needs and helping facilitate continuous product improvement through post-delivery analysis.

Contributing ideas to improve processes and helping the wider Yellow Panther team follow best-practice project standards.
WHO YOU ARE
-
3–5 years' experience working within Project Management at a digital company or agency.

Experience working with APIs, data-driven platforms and modern tech stacks; experience within the sporting industry is a bonus.

Formal qualifications such as Professional Scrum Master, Prince2, or a desire to work towards them.

Experience using Asana preferred, or similar project management tools, to manage delivery effectively and efficiently.

Demonstrable experience delivering digital projects such as applications, websites, and/or portals.

Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with confidence working across client-facing and internal teams.

Experience working with medium to large-sized businesses (preferably in an Agency or Sport landscape).

Well-organised, adaptable, and able to remain calm under pressure.

Confident in managing expectations and able to push back constructively when needed, with both internal teams and clients.
