Job Profile:Quality HOD
**Overview:**
Quality HOD is a pivotal leadership role responsible for ensuring the highest standards of quality across all manufacturing processes. This role demands a strategic thinker with a keen eye for detail, capable of driving quality initiatives that align with organizational goals. The Quality HOD will oversee quality assurance, control processes, and continuous improvement efforts to meet both monthly and yearly quality targets.

**Key Responsibilities:**
1. **Quality Assurance and Control:**
- Oversee all manufacturing processes to ensure adherence to quality standards.
- Control rework and rejection rates by implementing effective quality control measures.
- Validate critical processes, raw materials, and equipment calibration to maintain product integrity.
2. **Quality Inspections and Documentation:**
- Conduct thorough quality inspections at all stages of production.
- Maintain comprehensive documentation and quality records, ensuring accuracy and compliance.
3. **Safety, Health, Environment, and Quality (SHEQ) System:**
- Implement and uphold the SHEQ system to ensure a safe and productive work environment.
- Address and resolve staff grievances related to quality and safety concerns.
- Conduct regular training sessions to educate staff on quality standards and safety protocols.
4. **Audits and Compliance:**
- Manage internal audits to ensure compliance with quality, safety, and environmental norms.
- Prepare and maintain Quality Management System (QMS) documentation to support audit processes.
5. **Continuous Improvement and Cost Optimization:**
- Focus on cost optimization strategies without compromising on quality.
- Drive customer satisfaction through consistent quality assurance and improvements.
- Support continuous improvement initiatives and SAP implementation in the quality section.
**Qualifications:**
- **Education:**
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Quality Management, or a related field. A Master’s degree is preferred.
- **Experience:**
- Minimum of 8-10 years of experience in quality management within a manufacturing environment.
- Proven track record of achieving quality targets and driving process improvements.
- **Skills:**
- Strong leadership and team management skills.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Proficient in quality management systems and tools.
- Familiarity with SAP and other relevant software systems.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
- **Certifications:**
- Certifications in Quality Management (e.g., Six Sigma, ISO 9001) are highly desirable.
Pay: ₹40,000.00 - ₹60,000.00 per month
