Job Description: Technical Sales Engineer – Industrial Automation Components & Electronics
Job Overview
We are seeking a results-driven, technically proficient Sales Engineer to drive business growth for our Industrial Electronics and Automation Components portfolio.
You will target Original Equipment Manufacturers (OEMs), Engineering, Procurement, and Construction (EPC) contractors, and industrial end-users, Panel Builders, Distributors and position our component ecosystem—including Power supply redundancy modules (Diode/MosFet Oring), 4~20mA isolators, SPP, Modbus relay Modules, Dedicated Logic controller and customized solutions.
Key Responsibilities
· Technical Consultation & Solution Design: Analyze clients' product requirement and suggest suitable component, cross-referencing, and technical specifications.
· Business Development & Lead Generation: Identify and qualify potential accounts within manufacturing hubs, industrial zones, and OEM networks to consistently grow the sales pipeline.
· Product Demonstrations: Conduct on-site technical presentations and live proof-of-concept (PoC) demonstrations for electrical and automation engineers.
· Proposal & Quotation Engineering: Prepare detailed, structured technical proposals, tenders, and commercial quotes ensuring alignment with client budgetary constraints and delivery timelines.
· Channel Partner Support: Collaborate with industrial distributors, ensuring local networks are trained on new product lines, competitive advantages, and maintain healthy inventory levels.
· Participation in Industrial Exhibition: Active Participation in the preparation for Industrial Auto Exhibitions, technical material , Promotional activity, discussion with visitors , converting leads into sales.
· Cross-Functional Collaboration: Serve as the loop between the field and internal teams, translating customer technical feedback back to application engineering and product development teams.
· CRM & Pipeline Management: Maintain meticulous logs of daily customer site visits, project pipeline status, and weekly sales forecasts using CRM tools.
Required Skills & Qualifications
Technical Skills:
· Strong foundational knowledge of Industrial Automation Products:
· Familiarity with Industrial Communication Networks and Protocols: RS-232, RS-485, Modbus, Profibus, ProfiNet, DeviceNet, and Industrial Ethernet.
· Ability to comfortably interpret engineering drawings, electrical schematics, component datasheets, and application notes.
Commercial & Soft Skills:
· Proven track record of meeting or exceeding strategic B2B sales targets or order quotas.
· Excellent negotiation, persuasion, and presentation skills—specifically the ability to translate complex engineering terminology into clear business value.
· Self-motivated and autonomous, with a high degree of comfort handling extensive local or regional field travel to industrial sites.
Education & Experience:
· Education: Bachelor’s Degree/Diploma in Electrical Engineering, Electronics, Instrumentation & Control, or a related technical discipline.
· Experience: 2 to 3 years of proven technical sales or application engineering experience specifically within the industrial electronics products

Pay: ₹25,000.00 - ₹30,000.00 per month
