Job Title Electronics Product Designer – Digital Signage (LCD/LED) & Electronic Shelf Labels Location [Gurugram - India] Experience Level [Senior: 2-5 Years] Job Summary We are looking for an experienced Electronics Product Designer to design and develop next-generation digital signage displays (LCD/LED) and Electronic Shelf Label (ESL) products. The role involves end-to-end electronics design—from concept and architecture through prototyping, validation, and mass production—working closely with mechanical, firmware, industrial design, and manufacturing teams. Key Responsibilities Product & Electronics Design ● Design electronic hardware architectures for LCD, LED signage, and ESL products ● Develop schematics and PCB layouts (analog, digital, power, RF where applicable) ● Select components (MCU/SoC, display drivers, power ICs, wireless modules, memory, sensors) ● Optimize designs for low power consumption, especially for ESL and battery-powered products ● Design power systems (AC/DC, DC/DC, battery management, charging circuits) ● Develop the firmware Display & Communication Technologies ● Work with LCD, LED, e-paper (E-Ink) display technologies ● Design and integrate communication interfaces such as BLE, Zigbee, Wi-Fi, Sub-GHz, NFC ● Support signage interfaces like HDMI, LVDS, eDP, MIPI, SPI, I²C, UART Prototyping & Validation ● Build and debug prototypes; perform functional testing and design verification ● Conduct reliability, environmental, and compliance pre-testing ● Troubleshoot hardware issues during EVT, DVT, and PVT phases Manufacturing & Compliance ● Collaborate with manufacturing partners for DFM, DFA, and cost optimization ● Support certifications and compliance: CE, FCC, UL, RoHS, EMC, ISO, BIS safety standards ● Assist in pilot runs, production ramp-up, and yield improvement Cross-Functional Collaboration ● Work closely with firmware/software teams to ensure smooth hardware-software integration ● Coordinate with mechanical and industrial designers for enclosure and thermal design ● Support product managers with technical inputs, feasibility studies, and BOM costing ● 3D Modeling ● Sheet metal designing Required Qualifications ● Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electronics / Electrical Engineering or related field ● Strong experience in electronics product design for display or embedded products ● Proven experience with LCD, LED signage, or ESL products ● Hands on Espressif IDE, STM32 Cube IDE ● Proficiency in schematic capture and PCB design tools (Altium, OrCAD, KiCad, etc.) ● Strong understanding of power electronics, signal integrity, and EMI/EMC ● Hands-on experience with lab equipment (oscilloscope, logic analyzer, multimeter) Preferred Skills & Experience ● Experience with E-Ink / ESL systems and ultra-low-power design ● Knowledge of thermal management for high-brightness LED signage ● Familiarity with mass production in Asia and supplier management ● Understanding of embedded firmware basics for hardware bring-up ● Experience with cost reduction and value engineering. ● Firmware ● Mechatronics Soft Skills ● Strong problem-solving and analytical skills ● Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously ● Clear communication with cross-functional and international teams ● Detail-oriented with a strong sense of product quality and reliability What We Offer ● Opportunity to work on cutting-edge digital signage and retail technolgy
