A Mechanical Systems Technician (MST) is responsible for installing, maintaining, troubleshooting, repairing, and servicing mechanical equipment and systems to ensure smooth and efficient plant operations. The role involves performing preventive and corrective maintenance while maintaining safety, quality, and productivity standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform preventive and breakdown maintenance on mechanical equipment and machinery.
- Diagnose and repair faults in pumps, compressors, motors, gearboxes, conveyors, valves, and other mechanical systems.
- Install, align, assemble, and dismantle mechanical equipment as required.
- Conduct routine inspections to identify wear, damage, or potential failures.
- Read and interpret engineering drawings, technical manuals, and maintenance procedures.
- Maintain maintenance records, work orders, and inspection reports.
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations, company policies, and environmental standards.
- Coordinate with production and engineering teams to minimize equipment downtime.
- Replace defective parts and perform equipment testing after repairs.
- Maintain tools, equipment, and a clean, organized work area.
- Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance equipment reliability and efficiency.
Required Skills

Qualifications
- ITI/Diploma/Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
- 1–5 years of experience in mechanical maintenance in a manufacturing, industrial, or engineering environment.
Preferred Experience
- Experience with industrial machinery, rotating equipment, conveyors, compressors, pumps, and utility systems.
- Knowledge of TPM, 5S, preventive maintenance, and maintenance management systems is an advantage.
Pay: ₹24,000.00 - ₹26,000.00 per month
