Job Summary
We are looking for a responsible and experienced Mess Cook for a residential school campus and hostel. The candidate will be responsible for preparing hygienic, nutritious, and timely meals for students and staff while maintaining cleanliness and discipline in the kitchen area.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare breakfast, lunch, evening snacks, and dinner as per the daily menu.
- Cook both vegetarian and non-vegetarian meals as required.
- Maintain cleanliness and hygiene in the kitchen and mess area.
- Ensure proper storage and handling of food materials.
- Monitor daily food requirements and kitchen stock.
- Maintain discipline, safety, and sanitation standards in the kitchen.
- Coordinate with management regarding grocery and kitchen requirements.
- Ensure food is served on time for hostel students and staff.
- Avoid wastage of food and kitchen materials.
- Support during school functions, hostel events, and special meal arrangements.
Candidate Requirements
- Minimum 2–5 years of experience as a Mess Cook, Hostel Cook, or School Cook.
- Ability to prepare both vegetarian and non-vegetarian food.
- Basic understanding of kitchen hygiene and food safety.
- Ability to work in a residential school/hostel environment.
- Responsible, disciplined, and hardworking nature.

Salary
