Good understanding of International Track Alignment design standards. Understanding of Network Rail Standards

Proficient in developing track alignment design using Power Rail Track or Open Rail designer, Civil 3D.
- Able to create models, drawings, plan and profile, cross sections using MicroStation, AutoCAD

Able to develop design/check plain line, S&C and complex track alignment

Able to check the design/drawings produced by juniors and provide comments for improvement

Able to understand Multi Discipline interfaces and its impacts to track design

Able to work on new track projects, renewal schemes. Strong working knowledge in regression analysis through Power Rail Track or Open Rail designer

Able to perform calculations, write technical reports accurately under minimum guidance from seniors

Knowledge of CAD/ BIM standard

Good working knowledge on Microsoft excel, ProjectWise or Autodesk construction cloud

An understanding of track construction methods & staging design
