DNA Academy of Healthcare Studies is seeking a passionate and knowledgeable Nursing Tutor to join our academic team. The ideal candidate will deliver engaging classroom sessions, mentor nursing students, and prepare them for competitive nursing examinations and international nursing licensing exams. The candidate should possess excellent teaching skills, strong clinical knowledge, and a genuine passion for student success.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver classroom lectures for B.Sc Nursing, GNM, and Post Basic Nursing students.
- Teach core nursing subjects including Medical-Surgical Nursing, Fundamentals of Nursing, Community Health Nursing, Child Health Nursing, Mental Health Nursing, Obstetrics & Gynaecology Nursing, and Pharmacology.
- Prepare lesson plans, presentations, study materials, question banks, and mock tests.
- Conduct revision classes, doubt-clearing sessions, and regular assessments.
- Mentor students and monitor their academic progress.
- Support students preparing for DHS, AIIMS, RRB, HAAD, DHA, Prometric, NCLEX, and other nursing examinations.
- Stay updated with current nursing practices and examination patterns.
- Participate in curriculum development and academic activities.
- Maintain student attendance, academic records, and performance reports.
Qualifications
- B.Sc Nursing (Mandatory)
- M.Sc Nursing (Preferred)
- Valid Nursing Council Registration
- Teaching experience in a nursing college or coaching institute is preferred.
- Freshers with excellent academic performance and strong communication skills may also apply.
