About the Role
We are looking for a responsible and detail-oriented Accountant to handle day-to-day accounting and financial activities of the company. The ideal candidate should have good knowledge of Tally, GST, invoicing, bank reconciliation, purchase/sales entries, and basic accounting principles.
Key Responsibilities
- Maintain day-to-day accounting records and financial transactions.
- Handle sales and purchase entries, invoices, receipts and payments.
- Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable.
- Maintain and reconcile bank accounts.
- Prepare and maintain ledgers and vouchers.
- Handle GST-related accounting and documentation.
- Assist in GST return preparation and other statutory compliance activities.
- Manage TDS entries and documentation.
- Prepare basic financial reports and statements.
- Verify bills, invoices and supporting documents.
- Coordinate with vendors, customers and internal departments regarding accounts-related matters.
- Maintain proper documentation and records of all financial transactions.
- Assist senior management/CA with audits, taxation and financial requirements.
Requirements
- Graduate in Commerce (B.Com preferred).
- 1–3 years of relevant accounting experience.
- Good working knowledge of Tally / Tally Prime.
- Knowledge of GST and TDS.
- Good knowledge of MS Excel.
- Understanding of basic accounting principles.
- Good communication and organizational skills.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
