Quality Control (QC) Trainee

Position Summary
As a QC Trainee, you will be trained to monitor, test, and inspect our printing and packaging processes. You will ensure that all raw materials, in-process production, and finished goods meet our company's high-quality standards and client specifications.

- Education: B.Sc. / M.Sc. (Chemistry/) OR Diploma in Printing Technology / Packaging
- Salary: ₹15,000 to ₹20,000 per month (Negotiable based on interview performance)
Key Responsibilities
- In-Process Inspection: Conduct regular quality checks during the printing, cutting, and packaging stages to identify defects early.
- Raw Material Verification: Inspect incoming raw materials (paper, paperboard, inks, adhesives) against standard specifications.
- Final Product Testing: Ensure the final packed products meet standard dimensions, color matching, and structural integrity.
- Defect Reporting: Identify deviations, log defects, and report them immediately to the senior QC Executive or Production Manager.
- Documentation: Maintain neat and accurate daily quality inspection reports and logs.
- Lab Testing: Assist in basic laboratory testing (e.g., GSM checking, moisture testing, GSM/bursting strength, shade matching).
Required Skills & Competencies
- Basic Technical Knowledge: Familiarity with printing processes and packaging materials is a huge plus.
- Eye for Detail: Strong visual inspection skills to spot color variations, misregistrations, or printing flaws.
- Color Perception: Excellent color vision (ability to pass standard color-blindness tests is essential for shade matching).
- Mathematical Skills: Ability to take accurate measurements using tools like micrometers, vernier calipers, and GSM scales.
- Communication: Good verbal and written communication skills for internal reporting.
- Tech Savvy: Basic knowledge of MS Office (Excel and Word) for data entry.
