Job Description:
We are looking for an experienced Azure + Java Technical Lead/Architect with 10+ years of software development experience and strong hands-on expertise in designing and implementing enterprise applications using Java and Microsoft Azure.
Key Responsibilities:
Design and develop scalable enterprise applications using Java/J2EE technologies.
Design, deploy and manage cloud-native applications on Microsoft Azure.
Provide technical leadership for Java-based application modernization and cloud migration initiatives.
Develop microservices using Spring Boot / Spring Cloud.
Design RESTful APIs and enterprise integrations.
Work with Azure services such as:
Azure App Services
Azure Functions
Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS)
Azure Service Bus
Azure Storage
Azure Key Vault
Azure SQL / Cosmos DB
Azure API Management
Implement CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps.
Work with Docker/Kubernetes and containerized applications.
Drive application modernization and migration from on-premises environments to Azure.
Ensure application security, scalability, performance and reliability.
Troubleshoot complex application and cloud infrastructure issues.
Collaborate with architects, developers, DevOps engineers and business stakeholders.
Mandatory Skills
10+ years of overall IT/software development experience
Strong hands-on Java experience
Java 8/11/17+
Spring Boot / Spring Framework
Microservices architecture
REST APIs
Strong Microsoft Azure experience
Azure DevOps / CI-CD
Docker and Kubernetes/AKS
SQL databases
Cloud migration / modernization experience
