Job Purpose

The KST cum Dishwash Cleaner plays a critical role in our daily operations. This position is responsible for maintaining the cleanliness of the kitchen, washing and sanitizing all dishes, cutlery, and cooking utensils, and ensuring the restaurant's back-of-house (BOH) and designated front-of-house (FOH) areas are spotless and compliant with food safety regulations
Key Responsibilities:
1. Dishwashing & Utensil Care*
Operate commercial dishwashers and manual 3-sink washing systems according to company safety and sanitation standards.
Wash, sanitize, and properly store all plates, glassware, cutlery, pots, pans, and kitchen workstations.
Ensure all items are completely dry before stacking or delivering them to the kitchen or service staff.
Handle all equipment carefully to minimize breakage and loss.
2. Kitchen Stewarding & Housekeeping (BOH)
Deep-clean kitchen floors, walls, exhaust hoods, refrigerators, and counters regularly.
Empty, clean, and reline all trash cans and recycling bins throughout the shift; dispose of garbage in designated areas.
Maintain organized storage areas for chemicals, cleaning supplies, and clean utensils.
Assist the kitchen team with basic, non-cooking prep work (e.g., peeling vegetables) during peak rush hours if required.
3. Food Safety & Chemical Compliance*
Follow strict food safety guidelines and local health department regulations.
Safely handle, dilute, and store cleaning chemicals (using PPE like gloves and aprons where required).
Report any equipment malfunctions, maintenance issues, or pest control concerns to the supervisor immediately.
Job Requirements & Qualifications:
Experience: Prior experience as a Dishwasher, KST, or Housekeeping staff in a restaurant, hotel, or food chain group is preferred but not mandatory. Freshers with a strong work ethic are welcome.
Education: Minimum 8th/10th standard pass (ability to read chemical labels and safety signs).
Skills & Attributes:
Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-temperature kitchen environment.
Strong attention to cleanliness and detail.
Good physical stamina—ability to stand for long periods and lift up to 15–20 kg (trash bags, heavy crates).
Team player with a positive attitude and good punctuality.
Flexibility: Willingness to work in shifts, including weekends, holidays, and late evenings.
Pay: ₹18,500.00 - ₹24,000.00 per month
