About the Role:
We are seeking an experienced and results driven Head of Sales to lead our media sales function. This role will be responsible for driving revenue growth across multiple platforms, including event sponsorships, magazine and newspaper advertising, and other media offerings. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in media sales, a proven track record of achieving targets, and the ability to lead and scale a high-performing sales team.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute comprehensive sales strategies across media platforms, including print, digital, and events
- Drive revenue through event sponsorships, magazine advertising, and newspaper ad sales
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients, agencies, and media buyers
- Identify and capitalise on new business opportunities through market analysis and industry insights
- Lead, mentor, and manage the sales team to achieve individual and team targets
- Collaborate with marketing, content, and product teams to create compelling sales packages
- Oversee sales forecasting, pipeline management, and performance reporting to senior leadership
- Negotiate and close high-value deals and strategic partnerships
Requirements:
- Proven experience in media sales, including print, digital, and event sponsorships
- Strong leadership experience with the ability to manage and motivate a sales team
- Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills
- Demonstrated track record of exceeding revenue targets and growing market share
- Experience using CRM systems and sales analytics tools
- Strong understanding of market trends, audience data, and competitive landscape
Pay: From ₹800,000.00 per year
