Position Overview
The QA Testing Senior Analyst will support engineering teams in ensuring theperformance, reliability, and resiliency of critical applications and services. This role focuses onhands-on performance testing execution, analysis, and reporting, working closely with developers, architects, and QA teams in an agile environment.
The role will contribute to testing some of the organization’s most criticalaccess-to-care and enterprise applications, with specific emphasis onperformance testing and emerging AI-enabled testing practices.
Key Responsibilities
- Participate in thedesign, scheduling, and execution of performance testing activities includingload, stress, volume, and scalability testing
- Assist indefining performance testing objectives, scope, and success criteria
- Create and executeperformance test plans and strategies under guidance from senior QA or engineering leads
- Develop, maintain, and executeNeoLoad test scripts and scenarios
- Prepare and managetest data required for performance testing
- Configure and validateperformance test environments in collaboration with DevOps and engineering teams
- Execute performance tests and ensureconsistent monitoring and metrics collection
- Analyze test results to identifyperformance bottlenecks, risks, and trends
- Prepare clear and conciseperformance test reports and share findings with stakeholders
- Collaborate with development, QA, DevOps, and product teams tosupport defect resolution and performance tuning
- Supportcontinuous improvement initiatives by analyzing recurring issues and recommending practical improvements
- Participate inagile ceremonies such as sprint planning, stand-ups, retrospectives, and design discussions
- Monitor the performance ofexisting internal systems and applications as required
Required Skills Qualifications
- 5–7 years of experience in software testing with a strong focus onperformance and non-functional testing
- Hands-on experience withNeoLoad for performance testing (test design, execution, and analysis)
- Experience working withperformance test scripts and scenarios in real-world applications
- Basic hands-on experience withAI-enabled testing tools or concepts, such as:
- AI-assisted test optimization, anomaly detection, or result analysis
- Using AI features within testing tools or applying ML-based insights to testing outcomes
- Basic knowledge ofJava or similar object-oriented programming languages
- Solid understanding ofobject-oriented programming concepts
- Good understanding ofREST API concepts, including request/response validation
- Experience identifying performance issues related toAPI, application, or infrastructure layers
- Familiarity withAgile / Scrum methodologies and enterprise SDLC processes
- Exposure tocloud platforms such asAWS and/or OpenShift is desirable
- Proficient inMicrosoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) for reporting and analysis
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Ability to workindependently as well as collaboratively within cross-functional teams
- Comfortable working in afast-paced, delivery-focused environment
Nice to Have
- Exposure to performance testing incloud-native or microservices-based architectures
- Awareness of monitoring and APM tools (e.g., basic metrics, dashboards, alerts)
- Experience working onhealthcare, insurance, or highly regulated systems (optional)
