Position Description:
We are seeking a skilled QA Engineer – Tosca Automation with strong expertise in automation and manual testing to ensure the delivery of high-quality enterprise applications. The ideal candidate should possess hands-on experience in Tricentis Tosca, API testing, integration testing, and automation framework development. Experience testing enterprise applications such as Salesforce, NetSuite, and Workday is highly preferred.
The candidate will work closely with Product Owners, Developers, and Business Analysts in an Agile environment to design, develop, execute, and maintain robust automation solutions throughout the software development lifecycle.
Your future duties and responsibilities
Test Planning & Execution
- Design, develop, and execute test plans, test cases, and test scripts.
- Perform Functional, Integration, Regression, Smoke, End-to-End (E2E), and User Acceptance Testing (UAT).
- Validate application functionality across web and enterprise platforms.
- Execute automation suites before production deployments.
- Review and maintain regression test libraries.
Automation Testing
- Develop, enhance, and maintain automation frameworks using Tricentis Tosca.
- Build reusable automated test scripts and automation components.
- Utilize TeamAgents for distributed test execution.
- Integrate automation with CI/CD pipelines.
- Apply automation testing best practices and standards.
API & Integration Testing
- Perform API and Integration Testing.
- Validate REST/SOAP services and end-to-end integrations.
- Support testing across Salesforce, NetSuite, Workday, and related enterprise systems.
Defect Management
- Analyze automation failures and perform root cause analysis.
- Debug application defects and work closely with development teams.
- Track and manage defects through resolution.
Collaboration
- Work closely with Product Owners, Developers, and Business Analysts to understand requirements.
- Participate in Agile/Scrum ceremonies including sprint planning, reviews, and retrospectives.
- Collaborate with remote teams across the US and India.
Continuous Improvement
- Develop and improve QA automation processes and frameworks.
- Evaluate new testing tools, technologies, and methodologies.
- Ensure testing standards and quality processes are consistently followed.
- Mentor team members and contribute to QA best practices.
Required qualifications to be successful in this role
Must-Have Skills:
- 3–5+ years of experience in Automation Testing.
- Hands-on experience with Tricentis Tosca Automation.
- Experience with Tosca Cloud Automation and TeamAgents.
- Strong Manual Testing experience.
- API & Integration Testing experience.
- Experience with Salesforce, NetSuite, or Workday applications.
- Strong knowledge of Functional, Regression, Integration, Smoke, and UAT testing.
- Experience developing and maintaining automation frameworks.
- Strong SQL skills for backend data validation.
- Experience with CI/CD tools and DevOps practices.
- Hands-on experience with JIRA and Confluence.
- Strong analytical, debugging, and troubleshooting skills.
- Experience working in Agile/Scrum methodology.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
