- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Procurement, Engineering, or a related field.
- Minimum 3–7 years of proven experience in purchasing/procurement roles (industry-specific experience preferred).
- Experience handling procurement for sectors such as food exports, construction/civil projects, mechanical supplies, or industrial materials.
Key Skills & Competencies
- Strong knowledge of vendor management, sourcing, and negotiation strategies.
- Ability to manage procurement for multiple companies/projects simultaneously.
- Expertise in purchase planning, inventory control, and cost optimization.
- Familiarity with domestic and international procurement processes (especially for export-related industries).
Technical & Operational Knowledge
- Working knowledge of ERP systems, purchase software, and MS Office (Excel reporting mandatory).
- Understanding of material specifications, quality standards, and compliance requirements.
- Experience with contract management, PO processing, and supplier documentation.
Professional Requirements
- Excellent communication and coordination skills with suppliers, internal teams, and management.
- Strong analytical ability for budgeting, pricing trends, and procurement forecasting.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in food supply procurement, civil construction materials, mechanical equipment sourcing, or export documentation.
- Knowledge of GST, import/export regulations, and supplier audits is an advantage.
