1. Production Planning & Scheduling
- Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly weaving production plans.
- Allocate looms based on fabric type, machine capacity, and priority orders.
- Ensure optimal machine utilization and minimize downtime.
2. Order Management
- Analyze customer orders and forecast requirements.
- Prioritize orders based on delivery timelines and business needs.
- Monitor order progress and ensure on-time delivery.
3. Inventory & Material Planning
- Coordinate with procurement for yarn and raw material availability.
- Maintain optimal inventory levels to avoid shortages or excess stock.
- Track consumption and wastage of materials.
4. Production Monitoring & Control
- Track daily production vs. plan and analyze variances.
- Implement corrective actions to address delays or inefficiencies.
- Monitor loom efficiency, stoppages, and productivity metrics.
5. Coordination & Communication
- Liaise with weaving, warping, sizing, and maintenance departments.
- Coordinate with quality control to ensure standards are met.
- Communicate production status to management and stakeholders.
6. Process Improvement
- Identify opportunities to improve productivity and reduce costs.
- Implement lean manufacturing or continuous improvement practices.
- Optimize workflow and reduce bottlenecks.
7. Reporting & Documentation
- Prepare MIS reports on production, efficiency, and order status.
- Maintain accurate records of production schedules and outputs.
- Use ERP systems for planning and tracking (if applicable).
