Job Summary
We are looking for an experienced AR Caller to support our US-based healthcare operations by following up on outstanding insurance claims and accounts receivable. This role will be responsible for contacting insurance companies, checking claim status, resolving denials and payment issues, and ensuring outstanding balances are followed up on in a timely manner.
Roles and Responsibilities
- Follow up with insurance companies on outstanding and unpaid claims.
- Check claim status, payment status, eligibility, and reasons for non-payment.
- Follow up on denied, rejected, and pending claims and take appropriate action for resolution.
- Contact insurance companies by phone and through payer portals to resolve billing issues.
- Maintain accurate records of claim follow-ups, payer responses, and next steps.
- Coordinate with the billing team to resolve missing information or documentation required for claims.
- Follow up on aged accounts receivable and prioritize accounts based on aging and outstanding balances.
- Ensure timely and consistent follow-up on unresolved claims.
- Meet assigned productivity and follow-up targets.
Qualifications
- Minimum 3 years of experience in US healthcare AR, medical billing, or insurance follow-up.
- Experience working with US insurance companies and healthcare claims.
- Strong communication and follow-up skills.
- Comfortable making frequent calls to US insurance companies.
- Good attention to detail and ability to manage multiple accounts.
- Experience with medical billing, EMR, or practice management systems is preferred.
- Experience working with ABA, behavioral health, or therapy billing will be an added advantage.
Work Schedule
- Full-time position based in Kochi, Kerala, India.
- Must be willing to work during US business hours to communicate with insurance companies and support our US-based teams.
Pay: ₹30,000.00 - ₹32,000.00 per month
