About the Role
Vista's Learning is seeking passionate and energetic Coding Teachers to inspire students and develop their computational thinking, problem-solving, and programming skills. We welcome both freshers and experienced professionals who are enthusiastic about teaching technology and coding concepts to school students.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct coding and computer programming classes for school students.
- Teach coding concepts using age-appropriate tools and technologies.
- Introduce students to programming languages such as Scratch, Python, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, or other relevant technologies.
- Develop engaging lesson plans, coding activities, and projects.
- Foster creativity, logical thinking, and problem-solving skills among students.
- Monitor student progress and provide regular feedback.
- Prepare presentations, worksheets, and learning materials.
- Participate in school academic activities and events as required.
- Ensure an interactive and enjoyable learning environment.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field.
- Strong understanding of programming fundamentals and coding concepts.
- Knowledge of Scratch, Python, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, or other programming languages.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills.
- Ability to explain technical concepts in a simple and engaging manner.
- Good classroom management skills.
- Proficiency in MS PowerPoint and basic computer applications.
- Passion for teaching and technology education.
Experience
- Freshers are encouraged to apply.
- Prior experience in teaching coding, computer science, robotics, STEM education, or related subjects will be an added advantage.
