Job Summary
The Driver is responsible for the safe and timely transportation of company personnel, materials, documents, and goods as assigned. The role includes maintaining the assigned vehicle in good condition, ensuring compliance with traffic regulations, and supporting the company's operational and logistics requirements.
Responsibilities
Driving & Transportation
- Safely operate company vehicles for the transportation of employees, visitors, materials, and company documents.
- Ensure timely pickup and delivery of goods, materials, and correspondence.
- Follow assigned routes and schedules while maintaining punctuality.
- Adhere to all traffic laws, road safety regulations, and company policies.
- Assist with loading and unloading materials when required.
Vehicle Maintenance
- Ensure the vehicle is clean, well-maintained, and in roadworthy condition at all times.
- Report any vehicle defects, damages, accidents, or maintenance requirements immediately.
- Coordinate with the Administration Department for vehicle servicing and repairs.
- Keep records of toll receipts, fuel bills, and other travel-related expenses as required.
Safety & Security
- Ensure the safety and security of passengers, goods, and company property during transportation.
- Follow defensive driving practices and maintain a professional attitude on the road.
- Immediately report accidents, incidents, or traffic violations to management.
General Duties
- Support administrative and logistics activities as assigned by management.
- Be available for travel within and outside the assigned region as required.
- Perform any other duties assigned by the management from time to time.
Qualifications
- Valid LMV Driving License.
- Experience in a manufacturing, logistics, or corporate environment is preferred.
