Job Title: Instrument Engineer

Job Summary:
We are looking for a skilled Instrument Engineer to handle instrumentation activities related to fabrication projects. The candidate will be responsible for installation, calibration, testing, commissioning, troubleshooting, and maintenance of instrumentation systems used in industrial projects.
Key Responsibilities:
- Review instrument drawings, P&ID, hook-up drawings, and technical specifications.
- Supervise installation and commissioning of field instruments and control systems.
- Coordinate with fabrication, electrical, QA/QC, and project teams.
- Ensure proper calibration and testing of instruments.
- Handle pressure, temperature, flow, and level instruments.
- Prepare material requisitions and verify instrument materials.
- Monitor project progress and ensure completion within schedule.
- Troubleshoot instrumentation issues during fabrication and commissioning.
- Ensure compliance with safety standards and customer requirements.
- Maintain project documentation and reports.
Required Skills:
- Knowledge of industrial instrumentation systems.
- Ability to read engineering drawings and P&ID.
- Familiarity with PLC, SCADA, DCS systems.
- Good troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
- Knowledge of calibration procedures and commissioning activities.
- Coordination and communication skills.
Qualification:
- B.E / B.Tech in Instrumentation Engineering / Electronics & Instrumentation Engineering.
Experience:
- 2 to 5 Years experience in fabrication, process industry, or engineering projects preferred.
Preferred Industry:
- Fabrication Industry
- Process Plants
- Industrial Manufacturing
Additional Requirements:
- Willingness to travel to project sites if required.
- Ability to work under project deadlines.
