RingCentral is hiring a Senior Solutions Engineer – Enterprise (India) to lead technical strategy for large, strategic pursuits across BFSI, BPO/KPO/ITES and multi-site enterprise environments.
This is a senior, individual contributor role designed for experienced telecom and contact center architects who have built and transformed large-scale voice environments and now want to influence enterprise cloud transformation conversations.
Role Overview
As a trusted technical advisor, you will partner closely with Enterprise Sales and global Solutions Engineering teams to define, position, and validate complex UCaaS + CCaaS + AI solutions.
You will shape architecture strategy, lead deep technical discovery, and influence decision-makers at CIO/CTO and CX leadership levels.
This is a strategic pre-sales role focused on architecture authority, competitive positioning, and enterprise transformation.
Key Responsibilities

Define and position end-to-end UCaaS + CCaaS + AI architecture for complex enterprise pursuits

Lead technical discovery sessions and whiteboard deep telephony and contact centre architectures

Shape migration strategy from legacy PBX and on-prem contact centre platforms to cloud-native environments

Own technical responses for large RFPs and strategic bids

Partner with Sales to define solution positioning, differentiation, and competitive win themes

Guide technical validation and proof-of-value engagements

Identify technical risks, dependencies, and mitigation approaches during deal cycles

Support partners with advanced RingCentral platform expertise and joint solution alignment

Provide structured feedback to the global Product and Engineering teams based on India enterprise requirements

Define a competitive displacement strategy against incumbent enterprise platforms.
Enterprise Telephony & Architecture Expertise (Critical)
Strong hands-on and architectural experience in:

PSTN, PRI, SIP trunking, SBC architecture, carrier interconnect models, and voice quality optimisation (QoS, redundancy, failover)

Enterprise voice design, dial plans, call routing logic, HA/DR architecture

Hybrid and cloud migration strategies

Multi-site, 500+ seat enterprise voice environments

Indian telecom regulatory considerations (TRAI / DoT compliance)
You should be comfortable leading in-depth technical discussions with enterprise IT and telecom teams and confidently articulating / whiteboarding enterprise voice architecture.

10+ years in telecom, unified communications, or contact center domains

Proven experience supporting large enterprise environments (500+ seats)

Strong commercial awareness and experience supporting complex deal cycles

Executive presence with ability to simplify technical complexity into business value

Understanding of API-driven integrations and enterprise ecosystem alignment.
Educational Qualification

Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Telecommunications, or a related field

Relevant certifications (e.g., Cisco, Avaya, Genesys, cloud communication platforms) are a plus.
