Job Summary
We are looking for a dedicated and detail-oriented MPCB Coordinator to manage Maharashtra Pollution Control Board (MPCB) compliance activities and Post Environmental Clearance (EC) compliance requirements for industrial and construction projects. The ideal candidate should have knowledge of MPCB procedures, environmental regulations, online application portals, statutory documentation, client coordination, and environmental compliance reporting.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare and submit MPCB Consent to Establish (CTE) and Consent to Operate (CTO) applications.
- Preparing and submitting Post EC Compliance Reports (Half-Yearly Compliance Reports).
- Coordinate with MPCB officials for approvals, renewals, amendments, and statutory compliance matters.
- Prepare, verify, and maintain all technical and statutory documents required for MPCB applications.
- Prepare, compile, and submit Post Environmental Clearance (EC) Compliance Reports (Half-Yearly Compliance Reports) as per MoEF & CC and SEIAA guidelines.
- Coordinate with project proponents, environmental monitoring agencies, and consultants to collect monitoring data and compliance information required for Post EC reporting.
- Maintain records of Environmental Clearance conditions, compliance status, monitoring reports, and statutory submissions.
- Maintain project documentation, compliance trackers, records, and reports.
- Coordinate with clients to collect required documents and provide regular project updates.
- Handle online applications through the MPCB portal and monitor application status.
- Schedule and attend site visits, inspections, and meetings with clients and government authorities.
- Coordinate with internal technical teams for preparation of environmental reports and supporting documents.
- Ensure timely completion of assigned projects while meeting statutory compliance deadlines.
- Stay updated with the latest MPCB regulations, environmental notifications, SEIAA / MoEF &C C guidelines, and other statutory requirements.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Environmental Science, Environmental Engineering, Civil Engineering, Chemical Engineering, or a related discipline.
- 1–3 years of experience in MPCB consultancy or environmental compliance.
- Freshers with relevant academic knowledge are encouraged to apply.
Required Skills
- Experience in preparing and submitting Post EC Compliance Reports (Half-Yearly Compliance Reports).
- Sound knowledge of MPCB Rules, Environmental Laws, Environmental Clearance (EC) conditions, and Consent Procedures.
- Experience working with the MPCB online portal (preferred).
- Strong documentation, technical report preparation, and statutory compliance reporting skills.
- Experience in preparing environmental compliance reports is preferred.
- Proficiency in MS Word, MS Excel, and Outlook.
- Excellent communication and client coordination skills.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and meet statutory deadlines.
- Good analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
Preferred Experience
- Experience in preparing and submitting Post EC Compliance Reports (Half-Yearly Compliance Reports).
- Knowledge of Environmental Clearance (EC), CGWA, Hazardous Waste Authorization, Biomedical Waste Authorization, Plastic Waste Management, Extended Producer Responsibility (EPR), Environmental Monitoring, and other statutory approvals will be an added advantage.
