Electrical Site Supervisor – Construction

Job Summary
We are looking for an experienced Electrical Site Supervisor to oversee and monitor electrical works at construction project sites. The ideal candidate should have a strong background in the construction industry and be capable of supervising electrical contractors, ensuring work quality, monitoring project progress, and coordinating with consultants, clients, and project teams. The candidate should possess sound technical knowledge of electrical systems and be able to read and interpret AutoCAD drawings.
Key Responsibilities
· Supervise and monitor all electrical works carried out at construction sites.
· Ensure electrical works are executed as per approved drawings, specifications, project schedules, and quality standards.
· Coordinate with electrical contractors, consultants, project managers, site engineers, and clients for smooth project execution.
· Review electrical drawings, layouts, and shop drawings using AutoCAD.
· Monitor site progress and ensure timely completion of electrical activities.
· Verify that materials used at site comply with approved specifications and project requirements.
· Conduct regular site inspections and identify quality or safety issues.
· Coordinate with the procurement team for material requirements and delivery schedules.
· Resolve site-related technical issues in consultation with project and design teams.
· Maintain daily site reports, progress updates, inspection records, and documentation.
· Attend project coordination meetings with consultants, contractors, and clients.
· Support testing, inspection, commissioning, and final project handover activities by ensuring all works are completed as per approved standards.
Required Skills
· Minimum 3+ years of experience as an Electrical Site Supervisor in the construction industry.
· Strong technical knowledge of electrical systems used in commercial, healthcare, hospitality, and industrial construction projects.
· Ability to read, understand, and review electrical drawings, layouts, and single-line diagrams.
· Proficiency in AutoCAD is mandatory.
· Good understanding of:
o Electrical distribution systems
o HT/LT systems
o Panels and Distribution Boards (DBs)
o Cable routing and containment systems
o Earthing and lightning protection systems
o Lighting and power layouts
o Fire alarm and ELV coordination
o Testing and commissioning procedures
· Strong knowledge of electrical standards, safety regulations, and quality control practices.
· Excellent supervision, coordination, and communication skills.
· Ability to identify and resolve site issues efficiently.
Qualification
· ITI / Diploma or B.Tech in Electrical Engineering.
· Minimum 3 years of relevant construction site experience.
Preferred Candidate Profile
· Hands-on experience supervising electrical works on construction projects.
· Strong coordination skills with contractors, consultants, and multidisciplinary project teams.
· Ability to manage multiple site activities and meet project deadlines.
· Willingness to travel to project sites across Kerala as required.
Pay: From ₹25,000.00 per month
