The Production Shift In-Charge is responsible for overseeing the production operations during their assigned shift. This role ensures that production targets are met while adhering to quality, safety, and regulatory standards. The incumbent will lead a team of operators, manage resources efficiently, and implement continuous improvement initiatives.
Key Responsibilities:
- Supervision: Lead and supervise the production team during the shift, ensuring all personnel are trained and adhere to safety protocols.
- Production Management: Monitor production processes to ensure efficiency and quality standards are maintained. Adjust schedules and resources as necessary to meet production goals.
- Quality Control: Implement and maintain quality control procedures to ensure that products meet company and regulatory standards.
- Reporting: Prepare shift reports detailing production outputs, quality issues, and any incidents that occurred during the shift.
- Problem-Solving: Identify and resolve production issues promptly to minimize downtime and maintain workflow.
- Compliance: Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, food safety standards, and company policies.
- Training: Assist in training new employees and ongoing development of existing staff to enhance skills and performance.
- Collaboration: Work closely with other departments such as Quality Assurance, Maintenance, and Supply Chain to ensure smooth operations.
Qualifications:
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Food Science, Engineering, or a related field preferred.
- Experience: Minimum of 2-5 years of experience in a production role within the food manufacturing industry, with at least 1 year in a supervisory position.
Pay: ₹14,692.15 - ₹30,000.00 per month
