Job Summary
We are looking for a professional and experienced Cook who can prepare high-quality, hygienic and delicious food across multiple cuisines for a premium/private residence.
The ideal candidate should have strong knowledge of Indian cooking along with the ability to prepare different cuisines based on the family's requirements.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare fresh, hygienic and high-quality food on a daily basis.
- Prepare multiple cuisines including:
- North Indian
- South Indian
- Chinese
- Continental
- Other cuisines as required
- Prepare breakfast, lunch, snacks and dinner as per daily requirements.
- Maintain consistent taste, quality and presentation.
- Prepare food according to individual preferences and requirements.
- Maintain high standards of kitchen hygiene and cleanliness.
- Properly store vegetables, groceries, dairy products and other food items.
- Monitor kitchen inventory and inform the Residence Supervisor about requirements.
- Plan daily/weekly menus based on requirements.
- Minimize food wastage while maintaining quality.
- Maintain cleanliness of cooking equipment, utensils and kitchen surfaces.
- Ensure proper food handling, storage and hygiene practices.
- Be flexible to prepare special dishes and menus for guests when required.
Candidate Profile
- Minimum 5 years of professional cooking experience.
- Strong expertise in multi-cuisine cooking.
- Excellent knowledge of Indian cuisine is essential.
- Ability to prepare restaurant/hotel-quality food at a private residence.
- Good understanding of ingredients, spices, cooking techniques and presentation.
- Should be able to follow specific taste and dietary preferences.
- Experience working in a premium private residence, luxury hotel, 5-star property or high-end household will be preferred.
- Should be hygienic, disciplined, reliable and trustworthy.
- Should be comfortable managing the kitchen independently.
Key Requirement
Quality of food, hygiene, taste consistency and multi-cuisine expertise are more important than simply years of experience.
Pay: ₹25,000.00 - ₹30,000.00 per month
