Job Summary
The Showroom Sales Executive: Interior will manage and nurture relationships with new and existing clients for interior design projects (residential, commercial, or retail). The CRE will act as the key communication hub, ensuring client requirements are accurately understood, translated to the design team, and delivered seamlessly, on time, and within budget.
Key Responsibilities
1. Relationship Management & Communication
- Serve as the main point of contact for all client inquiries, updates, and feedback from the initial consultation to final project handover.
- Proactively communicate project progress, milestones, potential delays, and budget updates to the client in a clear and professional manner.
- Manage client expectations regarding design process, timelines, material sourcing, and potential on-site challenges.
- Conduct regular client check-ins and satisfaction surveys to gauge happiness and proactively address any concerns.
2. Client Acquisition and Sales Support (Pre-Design)
- Engage with prospective clients (leads) to understand their needs, preferences, budget, and design vision.
- Educate clients on the company's design process, services, and unique value proposition.
- Collaborate with the Sales team to present design proposals, quotations, and contract terms.
- Ensure all client briefs and requirements are accurately documented and handed over to the design team.
3. Project Coordination & Support (Post-Sale)
- Facilitate communication between the client, the Interior Designer, the Project Manager, and vendors/suppliers.
- Ensure all client approvals on designs, material selection, and budget changes are documented and confirmed.
- Assist in resolving any client complaints or on-site issues quickly and professionally, escalating complex matters to senior management as required.
- Coordinate site visits and client walkthroughs at key project stages.
4. Documentation and Reporting
- Maintain meticulous records of all client interactions, communications, and project status updates in the CRM software.
- Prepare weekly or monthly reports on client satisfaction metrics, feedback analysis, and relationship health.
- Coordinate the final sign-off and project closing documentation, ensuring timely collection of outstanding payments/fees.
Required Qualifications & Skills
Category Requirement
Education Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Interior Design, or a related field.
Experience1-3 years of proven experience in client-facing roles, customer service, or account management, preferably within the Interior Design, Real Estate, Furniture, or Luxury Retail industries. Technical Skills Proficiency in CRM software (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot) and MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
Basic understanding of interior design concepts, materials, and project timelines is a significant advantage.
Core Skills Exceptional Verbal and Written Communication (highly articulate). Strong Interpersonal Skills and a natural ability to build rapport and trust. Conflict Resolution and problem-solving abilities.
Highly Organized and detail-oriented.
